1. Controller and scope

Guillermo Bouix, Argentina, is responsible for this website. Use the email button at the end of this page to contact the controller.

This policy covers the informational and download website. The desktop app is separate: local image processing is different from website browsing and analytics. The documentation explains app connections for model downloads, updates and external links.

2. Data and purposes

Your manual language choice is stored in the first-party yagua_language cookie, containing es or en, for one year from when it is saved. We also keep a localStorage copy until you change it or clear site data; if the cookie is missing, that copy is recovered when a page loads. The cookie is sent to the server and used to choose the language when entering at the site root. This preference is not sent to analytics and does not depend on accepting GA4. At the root, it takes priority over the browser language; unsupported languages open the English version.

The website has no accounts, forms, newsletter or image uploads. When you connect, the provider serving the page may receive your IP address, time, requested page and browser details to deliver and protect the site.

If you email us, we use your message and the information you include to reply and handle requests. The contact mailbox uses Gmail, provided by Google. Do not include identity documents, private images or other unnecessary information in your first message.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measures page visits and download clicks only after you accept analytics. Click events include the package platform and version; they are not installations or completed downloads. We do not send internal search terms, URL query parameters or fragments. Google receives technical connection data and uses cookie identifiers for measurement.

3. Consent and providers

You can accept, reject or configure analytics. The Google tag does not load before acceptance or after rejection; no cookieless measurement signals are sent either. Browsing, reading documentation and downloading require no analytics acceptance. You can withdraw permission through Cookie preferences in any page footer.

Fonts are hosted on this website. Public GitHub data is fetched during the build; the browser need not connect to GitHub or Shields.io to display counters. Following a download, issue, social media or PayPal contribution link opens an independent third party with its own policies.

4. Retention and transfers

We store your choice in localStorage in this browser for up to 180 days. Choices under an earlier policy version do not enable this measurement. Optional GA4 cookies use the yagua_ga prefix and are configured for 60 days without renewal on visits. The property is configured to retain user and event data for two months without resetting on activity; this does not limit all aggregated reports.

Contact messages may remain in the mailbox used to answer inquiries. You can request access or erasure through the private channel. Providers may also retain logs according to their services and terms.

Google, used for Gmail and GA4, and Cloudflare, which hosts this website, may process information outside Argentina. Their services receive technical connection data and are governed by their own policies and terms. This configuration uses no personalized advertising, Google signals, User-ID or user-provided data for advertising features.

5. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, updating or erasure where applicable, and withdraw analytics consent. Other rights, including objection, restriction and portability, depend on applicable law. We do not sell personal data.

Argentine Law 25,326 provides ten calendar days for access requests and five working days for rectification, updating or erasure, subject to its conditions and exceptions. The AAIP is the supervisory authority. The data requests page explains the private channel and minimum information needed.
